The number of homes for sale decreased 13% from a year ago to 2,887 homes while the number of homes that came on the market decreased 12% to 754 homes.  The number of new contracts that buyers placed on homes for sale increased 3% from a year ago.  This indicates a slight uptick in buyer activity and could be attributed to low interest rates.
