This month in Springfield, we made LIVE phone calls so meetup attendees could listen in and hear real conversations with sellers in real time. There was some Q&A for the first 2 minutes and 30 seconds and they the guys get into the content. Greenbelt August 2016 Meetup
The topic of this month’s meetup in Greenbelt, MD was “The Quickest & Easiest Way to Close More Deals.” Discussion focused on Qualifying leads, Follow up systems, and Converting leads into deals. This is the same topic that we covered at the April 2016 meetup in Springfield, that wasn’t recorded. So if you missed that one, here’s the video with similar content.
Springfield August 2016 Meetup
The topic of this month’s meetup was “Overcoming Objections and Closing the Sale.” We covered how to find the seller’s pain, how to respond to their questions in the most effective way, as well as what to say when a seller says “Your price is too low” or “I need to talk to (other decision makers).” Questions from the audience included “How do I overcome the fear of talking to home buyers?” and “Where should I be spending my money as a wholesaler?”
July 2016 Meetup
At the July meeting, we discussed “Advanced Negotiation Tactics Learned From the FBI and Harvard.” You can use these tactics when talking with sellers on the phone or in person. Watch the video to see these tactics incorporated into our proven scripts and demonstrated through role playing.
June 2016 Meetup
The June 2016 topic was “Mastering the First Home Visit.” Brad Chandler and Tom Parmentier discussed estimating repairs (you can see the exact Repair Estimate Form we use), checking comps, building rapport with sellers, making up front contracts, addressing sellers’ questions, and making an offer.
May 2016 Meetup
In May 2016, the topic was “Qualifying & Closing Leads.” Express Homebuyers CEO Brad Chandler discussed how to structure your phone calls in order to build rapport with sellers, set an upfront contract, discover a seller’s motivation, find out their budget and set an in-home visit. Then he answered questions from attendees. There’s also a BONUS section on Comp Training, including how to find comparable properties and evaluate your seller’s property against them to come up with a fair offer.
